CATE INSTRUCTIONS

ITEM CARE

With a bit of care you can enjoy your RiRa Objects longer. Follow the care instructions for the materials of your specific product to make sure that it stays in the best shape for as long as possible. The objects are handmade which may result in minor differences. Colours, size, material, weight may differ slightly.

GENERAL INFORMATION

When you move your object, make sure to lift it rather than pulling or pushing it to avoid damage. Be careful not to scratch the surface with sharp objects.

LIQUIDISH

Liquidish is made entirely of epoxy. It is a strong material but has to be handled carefully because the surface can be scratched easily. We recommend cleaning exclusively with lukewarm water ( + neutral soap ) and a microfibre lint-free cloth. Avoid rubbing the material hard as this could result in damaging the material. Never use concentrated detergents such as bleach, ammonia, optical brighteners or soap intended for hard surfaces. If used outdoors where it is exposed to sunlight, all epoxies will eventually yellow. This fundamental chemical reaction occurs when epoxy is exposed to ultraviolet (UV) light.

GLAZE MIRROR

Glaze mirrors consist partially of epoxy ( the splash ). The glazed mirror itself can be cleaned with a gentle glass spray.

ADDLED GLASS

Addled glasses are handmade and require additional care. We recommend to l
oosen the dust/dirt with a soft brush or use a lint-free microfibre cloth first. Use a damp lint-free cloth to wipe glass art after dry dusting. Addled glasses can be washed gently in lukewarm water with neutral soap. Do not use ammonia, cream cleaners or any harsh chemicals - aggressive detergents can damage the surface and leave an irreversible patchy, cloudy or milky effect. After washing dry your artwork thoroughly with a soft cloth because minerals in water leave a residue which can damage and leave spots on the glass. Avoid putting extremely hot or cold liquid into your glass as this may cause it to crack. Refrain from putting your glass in a dishwasher.
